FAQs
My dog has sensitive skin. Is this suitable?
Yes. All Essential Dog products are ultra gentle and suitable for sensitive dogs β they will not cause skin irritations.
Can I use human shampoo on my dog?
No. Human shampoo (pH 4.8β5.8) can disrupt your dog's dermal acid mantle, making skin susceptible to fungus, bacteria and yeast. Dog shampoo should have a pH of 6.8β7.5.
How often should I bathe my dog?
A healthy adult dog should be bathed no more than once a fortnight. Over-bathing can strip natural skin oils and lead to irritation.
